Rhythm streamlines IT management while optimizing the hospital’s technology investment
Today’s hospital EHR systems enhance medical quality but at a price – EHR tasks can consume two hours of administration for every one hour of direct patient care. (1) For this reason, Enovate Medical has developed new tools to manage mobile EHR workstations. These innovations in the Rhythm asset management solution recently received two patents related to Rhythm’s artificial intelligence.
Patent 10541051 covers workstation utilization as well as the health of the batteries. Rhythm’s technology tracks peak device usage over a 24-hour period. This data is displayed as a graphical map tracking an entire fleet of hospital workstations. The usage data allows hospitals to optimize their capital assets while ensuring that doctors and nurses have sufficient workstations during peak working hours.
Rhythm’s patented technology also displays the health of each battery in the fleet as a heat map. With this graphical data, hospital IT staff can manage batteries to assure uninterrupted care for patients. In addition, Rhythm also predicts which batteries will achieve specified performance levels in a given month displayed as a battery replacement calendar. Hospitals can now budget six months into the future to prevent an aging battery fleet from hindering nursing workflow efficiency.
