Enovate Medical Workstations on Wheels meet FIPS 140-2 security requirements
Enovate Medical announced today that its hardware and software have completed the rigorous NIST (U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technologies) testing. Its products are now certified to connect to the Federal Government networks, including VA medical facilities and DoD installations. With Enovate’s Envoy and Encore EcoFlex clinical workstations on wheels and its cloud-based Rhythm asset management software platform passing the FIPS 140-2 security requirements, Enovate Medical is the only EHR workstation vendor to earn this recognition.
The VA and DoD Electronic Health Record (EHR) Modernization Program was established to develop the next-generation platform for a modern EHR infrastructure. This EHR modernization creates a need within the VA and DoD system for workstations on wheels that meet the government’s stringent security requirements.
